There are many things you can do to show up on Google search. Instead of waiting for Google to search you, why not you do something and put some signals in your blog post to attract Google to come your site and show your blog higher in the searches.
This practice is called search engine optimization (SEO). Showing up for keyword searches allow online user discover you whenever they are searching for something. But of course, there are competition in most of the keywords.
